MG Motor India participates in Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024

Morris Garages (MG), a British automobile brand with a 100-year-old legacy, participates in India’s first global mobility show, Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. hosted by industry associations and supported by the Government of India, this expo is being held from February 1 to 3, in New Delhi. The Expo will serve as a platform for MG Motor India to highlight its expertise in auto technology and electric mobility while underlining its commitment to contributing to the present and future of sustainable transportation in India. In convergence with the focus areas of the Expo, all five vehicle models of the carmaker that are being exhibited here, namely the Hector, Astor, ZS EV, Gloster, and Comet, reflect MG’s dedication to providing futuristic, innovative, and sustainable mobility solutions.

‘Accelerating Sustainability Practices’, a key theme of the Expo, was underscored by MG Motor India’s Green Mobility commitment with its EV vehicle line-up at the expo. The Comet EV, which forms part of the display, is an example of a practical urban mobility solution with its eye-catching design and intelligent features.

Speaking on the occasion, Gaurav Gupta, Deputy Managing Director, MG Motor India, said, “MG is delighted to participate in the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, which promises to be the venue for the global automotive and component landscape and brings to India the possibilities for the world that the auto industry has to offer. The carmaker also demonstrated its commitment towards creating a robust EV infrastructure in India with the display of its 6-way charging system, innovative battery composition for both the Battery Module and Battery Cell reflected in the ZS EV’s Prismatic EV Unit, and the concept of 2nd Life battery solutions. Since its inception, MG has installed over 15,000 nationwide charging touchpoints (including home and public chargers) with its EV ecosystem partners.

In consonance with its vision of introducing NEV’s in the Indian market, MG also exhibited its 3rd generation Hydrogen fuel-cell tech at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. This newly developed fuel-cell system echoes an integral theme –‘Future Fuels’–of this event.
